Vijay Eswaran Featured in Forbes Asia List
Posted on June 27th, 2011 No commentsDato’ Vijay Eswaran has been featured by Forbes as one of the top 48 philanthropists in Asia, in its annual list of Heroes of Philanthropy. Vijay Eswaran is a co-founder of QuestNet and also the Chairman of the QI Group of Companies - the parent company of QuestNet.
Dato’ Eswaran’s philanthropic efforts are carried out through the Malaysian-based Vijayaratnam Foundation, named so in memory his father, and the group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, RYTHM Foundation.
Some of the CSR projects that have been executed by RYTHM, which stands for Raise Yourself to Help Mankind, included providing monetary aid to the Bangkok School for the Blind and sponsoring a trip for orphans from East Jakarta to watch an AFC Champions League match.
In Hong Kong, QuestNet Services (HK) Ltd was awarded as a Caring Company by the Hong Kong Council Social Services for the third time in a row, in March 2010.
